I am fortunate enough to be attending and selling my wares at Ltd Edition in Zurich this weekend (21st-23rd June). I’m so pleased to be amongst such a fantastic line-up of artists and designers.
BEN NEWMAN floundered around in the dross pits of Earth for several millennia before finally gluing his brain blocks together, then gettin' up and goin' home. Since then he's been honing his contemporary fusion of bold shapes, bright colours and playful characters into something resembling a career. He has produced work for clients including the Tate, IBM, BBC Radio 4, New York Times, Absolut Vodka and Nobrow Press Limited.

The brilliant James Wilson (Jambonbon) has also animated another character from my next book, “Professor Astro Cat’s Frontiers of Space’, with Dr Dominic Walliman. This time Emmet the dog is whizzing along the surface of Mars in his own flying saucer.
I worked as one of the designers for this commercial for ‘Fuze Tea’ last year. The animation company behind this wonderful advert is Nexus. Directed by Smith & Foulkes with art direction from Colin Bigelow, it was a real pleasure to have worked (even in such a small capacity) on such a brilliant animation. I mainly worked on the character design and learnt a few new tricks while I was there. Enjoy!
‘Ouroboros’ Animation Test

Check out the animator of this test, Daniel Binns, HERE
The comic, Ouroboros, is now sold out so if you see one lurking about in a shop anywhere then grab it while you can.
