BEN NEWMAN floundered around in the dross pits of Earth for several millennia before finally gluing his brain blocks together, then gettin' up and goin' home. Since then he's been honing his contemporary fusion of bold shapes, bright colours and playful characters into something resembling a career. He has produced work for clients including the Tate, IBM, BBC Radio 4, New York Times, Absolut Vodka and Nobrow Press Limited.

An image for De Staat that I designed today. A couple of recent jobs have required me to work and think slightly differently than usual. I am really enjoying working in one colour and focusing on line rather than block shapes…. blah blah blah me me me…..
We were honoured to be asked by the mighty Newten’s Porcelain Panther - aka uber talented illustrators Ben Newman and Jim Stoten - to be guests on their excellent podcast. Unfortunately we decided to open proceedings by serving the legendary (and rather strong) “Crispin Fizz” cocktail, which may or may not have been a really bad idea… anyway, you decide - it’s available to listen to here!
